Why We’re Giving Thanks by Giving Back
This fall, we’re proud to host a local food drive to support families in need across Mississauga. Your donations help fill tables and hearts this Thanksgiving.
Mississauga has experienced a significant rise in food bank use, with a 58% increase year over year. During the 2024 Thanksgiving season, Food Banks Mississauga alerted to a crisis in which more than 56,000 residents, including almost 16,000 children, were turning to a food bank, thereby reflecting the current 58% increase.
These alarming figures highlight the growing food crisis in our community, especially during the holiday season. To address this issue, Winston Churchill Dental is hosting a food drive because every family deserves a generous and fulfilling Thanksgiving.
