Invisalign
Invisalign® treatment involves a series of clear medical grade plastic aligners that are customized for your smile. With optimal compliance, your smile will straighten to perfection over a period of approximately 12-18 months.
Individuals wearing Invisalign® trays agree that it is a very discreet way to fix crooked teeth. Since the aligners are clear, your friends, colleagues and even bystanders will hardly notice you are wearing them. They are easy to keep clean and quite comfortable to wear. Getting used to speaking with the aligners for the first few days will be your biggest challenge. The more you wear them and speak with them, the easier it gets. Ceramic Clear Braces
Similar to metal braces, ceramic braces include brackets and wires as well. However, the brackets are made of clear ceramic so they are less obvious. Ceramic braces are a great fit if you don’t want to take Invisalign® aligners on and off every time you have a meal or a snack. They’re also a great option for teens with compliance issues wearing the Invisalign® aligners for at least 20 hours per day.
Clear braces are also used for individuals who are not candidates for Invisalign®. Although Invisalign® can correct many orthodontic cases there are times when the use of traditional wires and brackets is required. This is where the discreet clear ceramic braces are a benefit.

Although the fee for Invisalign® and ceramic braces is similar, the choice will be both a clinical and personal one. Invisalign® is great for teens and adults but compliance is mandatory. Not wearing the aligners as directed will result in prolonged treatment time and you will not achieve the perfect smile you desire.
