Winston Churchill Dental proudly supports The Canadian Cancer Society and its fight against cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society funds research on all types of cancer, offers comprehensive and credible information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment, and, provides support for people living with cancer, family members and friends.
Winston Churchill Dental organized five days of clinics providing sports mouth guards to patrons as well as information regarding proper use and maintenance. Money raised during this event was donated to The Jerry Love Children’s Fund. The Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the exceptional care, world-leading research and innovative education at the Hospital. WCD is excited to contribute to Mount Sinai’s development of long-term, collaborative relationships across our community, provide compassionate care, and improve the quality of life of patients. In 2009, WCD became a proud supporter of the Mississauga North Juniour Rookie Tigers. The broad and avid appeal of team sports, like baseball, gives WCD the opportunity to promote and invest in the future of youth sport.
In 2008 WCD proudly sponsored the Canadian Soaring Team and, once again, offers their support in 2010. This summer, Winston Churchill Dental will be cheering for the Canadian team as they compete in the 15 Meter, 18 Meter and Open classes at the 2010 World Gliding Championships in Hungary.
Winston Churchill Dental is proud to support Movember 2009, an affiliate of Prostate Cancer Canada. Prostate Cancer Canada is a leader in researching the prevention, detection, treatment and cure for prostate cancer. Winston Churchill Dental is a strong believer in sports and physical activity in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Over the years, Winston Churchill Dental has supported young athletes and is still involved with supporting Mississauga Jets hockey team and North Mississauga Panthers soccer team. We look forward to supporting many more associations and children in the future.
Winston Churchill Dental continued their holiday giveaway in 2008 with a basket filled with all sorts of goodies, which was donated to the family shelter, Interim Place. We hope to continue this tradition in the years to come and put many more smiles on people’s faces.
