“I entertained the idea of dental implants and veneers for years. However, after visiting numerous dentists, I just couldn’t commit. I found WCD after moving to Mississauga, and following my first visit decided that this was it, I was going to move forward and get the smile I’ve always dreamed about. The friendly and knowledgeable staff answered all my questions and helped put my concerns at ease. I was referred to a Periodontist for the first part of my surgery. Regardless, my dentist, Dr. Bazydlo, was there every step of the way. A few days later she cemented my temporary crowns and life went on as usual while I waited for my permanent fixtures. Approximately 6 months later Dr. Bazydlo created my perfect smile. The procedures were somewhat uncomfortable but the process as a whole was pretty painless. Now I have a beautiful smile and take every chance I get to show it off. I am still a patient at WCD and the personal touch and warmth of the staff makes each visit a pleasure.” – Agnes

“I had missing teeth that bothered me. My treatment was complicated because I needed a sinus lift surgery along with three implants and one crown. Doctor Kate explained everything very well and prepared me for the procedure. I had discomfort for about a week but it was not as bad as I expected, and I used pain medication for only 3 days after the surgery. Now, what I love about my implants is that they feel like my own teeth. I couldn’t be happier.” – Slavica
“Before my treatment I could chew food on one side of my mouth. This was a great discomfort and I experienced pain if I bit something hard where my missing tooth was. My tooth was missing for a long time and I also noticed my jaw started to click when I was eating. So, I decided to go ahead and get an implant two years ago. During my treatment I felt no pain, and after I got home I had mild discomfort. Now that everything is completed, I feel really good. Most of all I love my smile. I don’t have to worry about anyone noticing a missing tooth. I smile a lot more than I did before my treatment!” – Tom
“I had a removable partial denture and I did not like how uncomfortable it felt. My treatment included the insertion of two lower implants and one upper implant. I was sedated during the treatment so it was painless. The day after the treatment I felt some pain, but I could control it with medication. After one week everything was healed; no pain and no infection! Now that I have my implants, I can finally eat anything I want and they feel like my own teeth. My only regret is that I did not get the procedure done on the other side of my mouth as well.” – Viviana

“I recently had a dental procedure to have caps put on to every tooth in my mouth. After years of grinding my teeth, both my upper and lower teeth had changed to the point where the appearance of my face was affected. I was beginning to have that sunken in look (similar to how people look when they have no teeth). This grinding also led to thinning of my upper and lower front teeth. They were so very thin that you could almost see through them. I had to worry about every bite of food since the next bite might make them crack. My front teeth were also starting to hurt, and I found I was always wearing my mouth guard for added protection. During my treatments, Dr. Kate and the rest of the team were wonderful. Everything from scheduling the length of each treatment and what was involved in each session, as well as decisions about tooth color and size were discussed prior to, and during my visits. It did take several sessions to complete the work I needed, but each time I left the dental office, I was confident to go to work and go about my daily activities. I was always made comfortable during the lengthy procedure and I am very happy with my results so far. I have two thirds of the work completed. It was my choice to take a break as I feel my smile is great now. I only have my lower front and back molars left in order to complete my entire mouth. The height adjustment on the teeth was perfect. I no longer have that caved in look. I also had my front teeth made a little longer so they would show more when I did smile. I can honestly say that they now feel as if they are my own teeth. They look and feel like original teeth, except now they will never yellow or stain!! I highly recommend Dr. Kate and Winston Churchill Dental for any dental work you are considering. They are all very competent, professional and understanding.” – Lynda
“I had two teeth missing in my upper left side. I was so aware of my missing teeth that I never used to smile. I always turned to my right side when speaking to someone. I thought about a traditional bridge, but the idea of cutting two healthy teeth to support a bridge stopped me from doing it. After Doctor Kate recommended implants I realized it was a perfect solution to my problem. The treatment was like any regular visit to the dentist. Now I’m getting used to having my teeth back and being able to smile again. I also noticed a big difference when eating. I finally use my left side to chew food. This was one of the best things I ever did for myself.” – Grazyna
“Prior to treatment, I was very self-conscious about smiling and showing my teeth. Being in a position where I am dealing with people daily and presenting in front of large groups my confidence level was always affected by this. Winston Churchill Dental was fantastic. Everyone was always considerate, open, and honest about the treatment ahead. Being welcomed at each of my appointments made me feel at ease and comfortable with my procedure. Now that I have had my new look for a few months, I can honestly say that I catch myself smiling all the time. It’s a sense of relief that I can smile without feeling awkward about how people view my smile. I tend to socialize more now than in the past; I am truly enjoying life without borders!” – Christopher
“I had very discolored and crowded front teeth. After my root canal treatments I was left with large restorations which were chipping. I was very embarrassed to smile; always covering my mouth, not to show my teeth. During my treatments I was very relaxed. Dr. Daniela was very gentle and professional. I couldn’t wait to see my new smile. Now I smile all the time; people are looking at me and noticing my smile. The first night after I had my crowns cemented my boyfriend said I smiled while sleeping. This made a huge difference in my life. Thank-you Dr. Daniela.” – Adela

“Before my treatment I felt embarrassed to smile or even laugh as my teeth were a complete mess from grinding them since I was a child and were stained beyond any whitening could conceivably help. My experience during the treatment was that of extreme professionalism, I was very impressed at how knowledgeable and reassuring the dentist and staff were and how quick and easy the procedure was from start to finish. I can now go out and laugh and smile with confidence – the procedure was one of the best investments I’ve ever made and I have Winston Churchill Dental to thank for it.” – Ryan
“I had a missing tooth that was replaced by a partial denture. It was very uncomfortable, and eventually started breaking and falling out. I found out about Dr. Kate’s Implant Info Night. After everything was explained to me, I decided to go ahead with an upper implant treatment. During the surgery I felt no pain or discomfort. Doctor
Kate was very professional and knowledgeable. Now I have all my teeth, it feels very natural and comfortable. I’m very happy with the result.” – Adam
“I found out about implants a while ago, but I could not afford the treatment. I had missing teeth in my lower jaw and was wearing a full denture. It was awful, I had problems with my stomach because I could not chew properly or eat certain foods. I also had difficulty speaking and maintaining good oral hygiene. My denture would fall out and needed frequent adjustments. The turning point was at the swimming pool, when my denture fell into the water in front of other people. That is when I found out about Winston Churchill Dental Implant Info Night. It was very informative and helped me understand the whole process. I decided to get an implant supported denture. The surgery was fine; I experienced some pain, but nothing I couldn’t handle. It took about 6 months for everything to heal. I was very excited while waiting. Now I feel fantastic, my denture is very stable. I can eat all foods and chew properly. No more stomach problems. My oral hygiene is very good. I love the way it feels…Incredible. I’m so happy, too bad I waited so long.” – Michalina
“I hated having a gap of three teeth missing in my lower jaw. I felt embarrassed when my grandchildren would peer into my mouth and was careful when laughing or smiling. Also, I had only one side of my mouth to chew on. My treatment involved having two implants inserted. I did not feel anything during the treatment and when I got home I did not have any pain. I only took pain medication the day of the surgery. Since I got my lower implants, my upper teeth feel better too. My implants look great, but most of all I can chew my food properly and no longer worry when I smile with my grandchildren. I am very happy I did it.” – Dolores
